  • You are ready to see and work on your own dysregulation, triggers, and trauma-driven thinking, beliefs, and behaviors

  • Though your trauma symptoms flare sometimes, you're in a place where you can be in a group with others, and maintain courtesy and kindness

  • You are comfortably able to pay tuition without hardship to yourself or those who depend on you
  • You would value the help of a supportive coach and group to help you take positive steps toward the life you want

How Is Coaching Different Than Therapy?

Please remember, we are not therapists or doctors, and our coaching programs are for support and information purposes only.

COACHING:

  • Focuses on the present and future - what you can do now to move forward.

  • Centers on goals, actions and accountability.

  • Assumes the client is fundamentally healthy and capable of change.

  • Works on building new habits, communication skills, and decision-making.

  • Emphasizes personal responsibility and self-leadership.

  • The coach does not diagnose or treat mental disorders.

  • The relationship is collaborative and equal — the coach is a guide, not an authority.

THERAPY:

  • Often focuses on the past and how it shaped current emotions and behavior.

  • Centers on insight, healing, and emotional processing.

  • Assumes the client may be struggling with psychological symptoms that need treatment.

  • Works on resolving pain, trauma, or dysfunctional patterns from history.

  • The therapist is licensed to diagnose and treat mental health conditions.

  • The relationship involves a clinical hierarchy — therapist and patient, not equals.

Testimonials

Here's what other coaching program participants say about the experience

"Anna came into my life at the point when I felt like I’d run out of options.  After years of therapy, I thought I understood everything about how a physically and emotionally abusive childhood had impacted on me, and yet the damage it had done was continuing to escalate. I was on the verge of losing the man I loved dearly, Using the words “childhood trauma” I searched the internet and The Crappy Childhood Fairy popped up. It’s not an exaggeration to say that was when everything changed. I now look for joy in my life. My relationship is stronger than ever, I’m hitting long-held work goals and, best of all, I’m no longer plagued by traumatic memories or the resulting negative emotional triggers."

HEATHER, USA

"It is such a relief to be in a room where there is a solution to the long term effects of growing up with trauma. Since I finally know what I'm up against, I'm relieved I'm not alone. I have been able to make better decisions during very life changing circumstances as the result of doing the Daily Practice and by learning from Anna's teachings and the mentorship, My recovery is ongoing and I tell everyone it saved my life and the quality of my life. It's a simple solution to a complex and complicated brain and I will be forever grateful. Do it. Your life will get better."
MAGGIE R, USA

"I feel like I finally got the memo! I discovered the Crappy Childhood Fairy on YouTube and decided to join the coaching program because Anna was providing concrete, practical suggestions to address CPTSD. Having been to years of therapy and spent years exploring the world of self-help, there were still things that were a mystery to me. The program allowed me to become aware of things that used to be huge blind spots. Being part of a community of others on a journey to heal from trauma symptoms has been incredibly valuable. I've gained new awareness that has allowed me to have more peace and confidence in my life and, there is more and deeper connection in my relationships. Those close to me have noticed it too. I'm thankful to Anna and her team and thankful to be on this healing journey and part of the Crappy Childhood Fairy community."
S JONES, USA

"My overall experience with CCF coaching, videos and group is life-changing. I am different as a result. I am better. I am regulated. I am hopeful. I moved from a place of blaming everyone and everything else to a place of acknowledgement and accountability. I found peace for the first time. Thank you!"
DIANE H, USA

"Anna gets it!  She gets it all. The weird coping mechanisms I developed because of trauma, the secret fears that weigh me down and kept me from living my life. She helped me realize above all that I was a normal person who was just hurt very badly. I’m not a bad person trying to be normal. I’m 100% ok.  I am feeling and living a much better life and for that I am forever grateful to Anna Runkle."

"S," USA

"I really enjoyed the coaching intensive as it opened my eyes to some blind spots that I had. I also found it very encouraging to be part of a group that gave me the feeling of being understood and appreciated by the other members. I think this course really helped me to make some major progress in my healing journey."
MARIPOSA, GERMANY

"Anna Runkle is a compassionate, kind, and encouraging coach.  She encourages you to move from the past to a purposeful and peaceful present!"
